Teens On The Green Academy

The Teens On The Green Academy will provide one of the most successful educational, vocational, sports education institution in the U.S. This international Academy with youngsters from the community as our core group of students will provide a college preparatory curriculum that will include the latest in learning equipment to insure the best grades possible for each student, including those that don’t speak English.

All students will have an opportunity to visit and communicate with key faculty, coaches, and instructors in their discipline at their desired College or University. Each student will be advised of the grade point level, and understanding/performance level needed to earn a scholarship to those colleges and universities. Every youngster will begin his or her education with a definite goal to achieve and work towards achieving that goal.

In all cases every student will participate in competitions and events that propel them towards their ultimate goal. Part of our education process includes sharing with other students, knowledge and talent gained through the TOGF Academy. All students will have an opportunity to travel to a foreign country to experience their discipline in another culture and language. These opportunities are provided in order to create an awareness, respect, and understanding of their intended discipline on a global level.

In all areas of endeavor each student will have the opportunity to realize a completed project in their desired discipline. Example:

Students in TV production will produce a series: “Patchwork Through The Eyes Of A Child” an entertainment series depicting life during historical periods for every culture in the world, and their contribution to the building of America.
Golfers will compete in a Teens On The Green series, which will take them to our international qualifiers and end at the Teens On The Green World Championship.
Tennis and Equestrian students will compete in events throughout the U.S. and abroad and end with the Teens On The Green Rockdale/Conyers International Festival of the Arts and Sports. In both cases these young athlete/students will be exposed to every opportunity to compete in the worlds most important events as their talent commands.
Motion Picture Division and Creative Writing Division will choose a story or script and from pre-production, location scouting, production, and postproduction complete the project and negotiate theatrical distribution, and or DVD distribution.
Music students will play and compete in Band and orchestra competitions, plus produce music for distribution and sale where possible.

In all cases the entire student body will participate in the Teens On The Green International Festival of The Arts, Music and Sports, and act as host and Ambassadors to the visiting students and families from every state in the U.S., and Countries from around the world. Level of participation by each student, will be tied directly to their grades.

The Teens On The Green Foundation will cater to all students in the community providing an opportunity to intern with our varied disciplines, and earn scholarships to the Academy. Any promising student that shows a true desire and grade point average will be admitted and receive scholarships if financially necessary.

The Teens On The Green Academy is an important learning institution that will have an extremely positive impact on the youth community and an awareness that “Goals can be reached, if you work to make it happen” The Teens On The Green Academy will hold youth seminars regularly to introduce the opportunities available for their future.

At the Teens On The Green Academy students come first. Our Mission is to make sure that every graduate EARNS a scholarship to college in education and their discipline because of their grades and excellence in their discipline. All of our students will bring a practical and classroom experience that will rival the best institutions in the world.

The Teens On The Green Academy Physical Location & Instruction

The Teens On The Green Foundation will purchase the Hawthorne Suites hotel located adjacent to our Golf Course of Instruction, 1 block from the Olympic Equestrian Horse Park, 10 minutes from the brand new Rockdale Tennis Academy. The grounds of the hotel, and surrounding location provide total separation from homes, major traffic, and negative influences.

The Suites are perfect for two person dormitory rooms, and the current Conference rooms (6) provide more than adequate classroom space. Hotel restaurant will become our commissary. There is a do it yourself and a professional laundry. There is more than 3 acres of land for outdoor classes and study area for students needing a change of location to study. There is a large room too be converted into our computer lab. Just minutes away an available warehouse perfect for conversion into a Film & TV Studio that can be donated by the County.

Our Golf, Tennis, and Equestrian classes will be taught by the top individuals and their staff in the world, as described by their industry experts and publications.

In the Creative divisions, Film, TV, Creative Writing, Music, we will have visiting lecturers and artist from their respective industries provide seminars, on the project training and advising, and conversations where students can receive a first hand knowledge about their desired field of endeavor. These students will have an opportunity to visit film & TV sets, recording studios sessions taking place, and the studio or workshop of writers of books, screenplays or stage plays.

The Teens On The Green Academy is a continuous “Work in Progress” for every student.

Our goal is to raise a minimum of Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000.)
